"Workforce Education" Won't Work (ACAN Audio)

A lot of people are talking about "public/private parterships" to use public schools as job training centers. This is a part of what is called "Workforce Education". Here is an 11 minute audio file from the Arkansas Conservative Action Network (ACAN) explaining what "Work Force Education" means, why it is being pushed, and why it is doomed to be another colossal big-government failure. Just click and listen!

Living in the middle of the Delta I concur that education isnt going to help until opportunity is provided. I have said many times how we are a well regulated workforce. I still do and that is my first issue as I run for State Rep here. Anyone who wants to know how the common man feels can come and talk with me. I have to upset the elite Liberals to take back our economy and make it for the people.
The current Government run programs are ineffective and always will be until the people are truly represented.

Socialism doesnt work, so all the roads and hospitals and the military, provided by the "big bad" government dont work? If I were different kind of person I would accuse you of being against the military.

and I would accuse you of being a socialist. Hospitals started as completely private, and the more they are controlled by the government the less well they work. IN Canada governments control it all, There they simply put you on a waiting list until you die or come to America for treatment.

A lot of our highway problems are related to the very fact that there is a disconnect between those paying and where the roads are built. Try driving in Benton or north Washington County around noon or five if you think we are as good at allocating roads as Wal-Mart is at allocating inventory. There is no comparison.

Militaries have the advantage of fighting against other gov. organizations when they fight the military of another country.
