Holt Campaign Director Moore Steps Down

I have turned in my resignation as Campaign Director of the Jim Holt for Lt. Governor Campaign for personal reasons. My resignation was given this Saturday and accepted on May 2nd. I still want to help Senator Holt become the next Lt. Governor. It is my belief that the primary election is well in hand and I look forward to an overwhelming victory for the Holt campaign on May 23rd. The criticism from Mr. Banks about party issues was not a direct cause of this decision. I wish Senator Holt and his family all of God's blessings and plan to vote for him as soon as the polls open.

It would be wise if Mr. Holt starts his search for a new campaign manager here - http://www.narcp.com/

Mark Moore and Senator Jim Holt are some of the most honorable men in Arkansas. Even if Senator Jim Holt never won another election (which I feel quite sure he will) what he and Mark Moore have done to get out the truth and drive the agenda has been a great service to Arkansas. And whether Senator Holt is elected or not, he and Mark Moore still have to be dealt with because the people are ready for the initiatives they will work on.

Senator Holt and Mark Moore have been visionary and almost prophetic on the issues. Fifteen months ago the illegal alien issue was just beginning to surface. Now it ranks as the 2nd top issue. Thursday, April 27, 2006

A generic third-party presidential candidate emphasizing border security would tie a Democratic candidate and defeat a Republican, according to a new poll.
The Rasmussen Reports national survey asked respondents how they would vote if "a third party candidate ran in 2008 and promised to build a barrier along the Mexican border and make enforcement of immigration law his top priority."
In that scenario, Democrats, with 31 percent, would be in a virtual tie with the third-party candidate, with 30 percent of the vote. The Republican candidate would be favored by only 21 percent.

I don't think there has ever been an issue this strong in the history of our country - one that would allow an independent to win over the major parties.

Holt opposed scholarship and instate tuition for undocumented citizens (illegal aliens). Now the Missouri Senate has passed a bill 29-3 to not even allow them to attend their public universities. That is in accord with the federal law which says it is illegal to aid in any way illegal aliens. Foreign born students in the US become illegal and detainable and deportable at 18 1/2 years of age. Anyone that hires them therefore is breaking the law, and the federal law will not allow illegal aliens to have grants or any type of federal aid.

Maybe Holt should run as an independant and test your theory.

There still hurdles with the Ballot Access. Mark has smoothed the way by standing on principles. His presence is strong in this regard. I am myself challeging the unconstitutionality of Ballot access denial in the name of the State. I have a great argument and now have to get it to the next legal authority for action. That would be the States attorney General.

8:39 I am for stopping illegal immigration at the border. I would like to see a wall built, but then we would also need one on the Canadian border since there are many that come through there.

Holt and Moore are not prophets, and they cannot see into the future. They grabbed onto something that appealed to many people, like the white supremists. The first man he associated himself with, was that kind of person, and when he found out he was hurting him, he moved away from him. Then he picked up another in Moore, and now look what has happened. Their agenda, in my opinion, is racist. Holt, if he gets elected, can do nothing about illegal immegration here. It would cost a fortune to round up and deport them, if we could. Maybe he should move to a border state, or run for in a gederal race, oh yes, he did that and lost.

Holt is against giving illegals any help at all. When their babies are born here, they are legal. I would rather give those babies a good chance in life before birth, than pay the much higher cost if there are things wrong with the babies. Just because Holt has his children at home with a midwife, doesn't mean everyone should. Medical care and medicine has been provided to us by God.

I am a christian and will be voting for Matayo.

When their babies are born here, they are legal.

Only as a matter of policy are they considered legal, not because of any law or moral imperative.

Canada had an anchor baby system, and they got rid of it, because they realized it was a disaster. It's time we changed INS policy and get rid of it ourselves.

By the way, didn't you get the memo? No one is falling for the accusations of racism leveled at those who oppose illegal immigration and anchor babies. It only makes you look stupid and unpatriotic.

Legal is legal. If they are born here, they are legal! Just because you don't like it, doen't change anythiing. Now I suppose your chosen one can do something about changing that too. That is laughable. Now they are anchor babies? How about just babies-- that is the most racist statment I have ever heard. Stupid to you or not. And don't ever call me unpatriotic. My father, whom I never knew gave his precious LIFE for this wonderful country so that people like you could have your freedom!

I'll assume your father was patriotic, however, it is YOUR efforts to undermine this country- cloaked in phoney compassion, that are the issue.

If you can casually call others racists, then stop whining when others call you names you believe are not fitting.

Holt saying that he can do anything about illegal immigration is laughable. What's next, he'll come up with his own plan to catch Bin Laden? I'm surprised he hasn't already used that in his speeches, "As your Lt. Gov I will do everything in my power to catch Osama Bin Laden." What a joke.

"By the way, didn't you get the memo? No one is falling for the accusations of racism leveled at those who oppose illegal immigration and anchor babies." I guess that means you weren't at the last debate. Matayo got all but a standing ovation when he called Holt out on racism. Banks received the same applause when he also called Holt a racist. You must have only sent the memo to a few people. Everyone else agrees that Holt's beliefs are racist.

Please, Matayo has issued two press releases about what he has done/will do to reduce illegal immigration in Arkansas. Then he turns around and says we can't do anything about it on the state level and plays the race card when Holt unveils HIS ideas to do the same thing.

Banks and Matayo are seriously misreading the mood of the public if they think they can shout him down with cries of racism.

"Matayo got all but a standing ovation when he called Holt out on racism."

You were not there in LR or are just content to lie again...

Matayo said in LR that those who use the term "illegals" and "Hispanics or Latinos" interchangeably are intentionally stirring up racist feelings and that is racism. He neither named Holt nor any of his followers by name (although some of his followers are guilty of this).

It appears that the Holt camp has taken this personally. It is not too late to repent of this sin if you feel convicted. Your "Who me be a racist?" indignation doesn't work here. You have chosen to take offense. Then again, maybe you have chosen to put on this shoe because it fits.

How you choose to deal with Mr. Matayos' comments is entirely up to you.

11:56 Just because I don't believe Holt can do anything about illegals, and I also think he surrounds himself with racists, you think I am unpatriotic. I really believe patriotism is more than that. You people are the ones trying to divide this country.

If you are one of the ones that consider the illegal's babies to be "anchor babies", then I guess we all are. Most of our ancestors came here from other countries. Their children all obtained their citizenship by being born here. Using that reasoning, means that we would all need to apply for our papers, since we would not be citizens either.

Yes, except you conveniently forget that the vast majority of American immigrants came here INVITED and LEGALLY. Oh, sure- the Indians/Native Americans didn't invite us, and look what happened to what was once their country! Are you saying that we should repeat the Indian's mistake only this time with Mexicans as the foreign invaders and we being the people displaced from our own homeland?

Hello, what kind of immigration policy are you advocating here?

I guess all that really matters is that you can call Jim Holt a racist. Logic does not apply.

"Yes, except you conveniently forget that the vast majority of American immigrants came here INVITED and LEGALLY."

Prove it. Find the papers of your ancestors and prove it.

Most of our ancestors came here 100+ years ago. How can you possibly know if they were legal or not? So one by one, let's all find our families papers and prove it. I'm sure you don't want to go down this road for fear of what you'll find out.

There are people here in this country that you don't like and you want them gone. Fine. You don't want babies born here to be granted citizenship even though it's constitutional. Fine. But what if you found out that your grandfather came here illegally, your father was born here and therefore was made a citizen which made you a citizen as well. Should your citizenship be revoked? Because that is what you are advocating.

Let's all go through our papers. We better get started.

6:00 You're only assuming. I have no idea how my ancestors came here or whether they were legal or not. I know where they came FROM, but not their status. As is probably the story with most Americans. How are we possibly supposed to find that out?!

6:58, using your line of logic, I guess murder is alright, because I'm sure someone in each of our lines of ancestory has committed murder somewhere along the way. We'd be hypocrites to prosecute anyone for it now- especially if anyone ever got away with it.

Again, I ask you: what kind of asinine immigration policy are you advocating?

No one is talking about murder. But since you're in the process of punishing children for their parent's mistakes, why not lock up all the children of murderers or anyone else who is in jail for committing a crime?

Of course you're comfortable with it, because it doesn't affect you. You don't want to have to look at your records because you might be deported. You're willing to revoke the citizenship of babies, but don't you dare question yours. I'm advocating the law, the 14th ammendment.

Oh, but by your logic, you're advocating letting the murderers go free because putting them in jail would condemn the children to a life without a father or mother. At least in the case of immigration, the parents can take their children back to their home country. You're using "the children" as a phoney excuse to legalize criminals- insane!

Bottom line: you think anyone in the world who illegally sneaks in this country is entitled to full benefits, including citizenship of any children they have while here (a concept NOT supported by the 14th amendment- I challenge you to provide us with the INS policy that uses such rationale).

I and the majority of Americans disagree with you for reasons obvious to us, but apparently too difficult for you to understand.

Nobody who sneaks into this country is entitled to full benefits, but their children, who are born here are entitled to citizenship and the benefits that come with it. I challenge YOU to provide proof otherwise, since the President, the Supreme Court, the Congress, the local school board and I believe the 14th ammendment is true.

...who in turn, sponsor their illegal alien parents, who in turn are then fully eligible for benefits.

This isn't speculation, this has been reality for far too long. But since you apparently have never heard the expression "anchor baby" before, no wonder you talk as if we live in fairy-tale land.

My response to that statement. God provided the lives in those babies that women bear and no man or wowan has the right to take that away. welfare and medicare are man made.
