Team America PAC Endorses Senator Jim Holt for Lt. Governor

Well, OK, so it is not that "Team America", but one founded by Congressman Tom Tancredo and former U.S. Treasurer Bay Buchanan.

"Bay Buchanan, chairman of Team America, a political action committee founded by Congressman Tom Tancredo that is dedicated to securing our borders endorses Senator Jim Holt for Lt. Governor of Arkansas.

Holt has clear grasp of the issue and is a fierce opponent of amnesty and mass immigration. Unlike many candidates, he is not a Johnny-come-lately who just recently took on illegal immigration for political gain. Holt backs up his talk with a consistently pro-enforcement voting record. While in the Arkansas State Senate, Holt proposed Senate Bill 206 in 2005, which would have strengthened voter identification and denied taxpayer funded benefits to illegal aliens. He was instrumental in defeating House Bill 1525 in 2005 , which would have given scholarships and in-state tuition to illegal aliens. If elected, Team America is confident that Holt will be an asset to those who wish to enforce our laws and secure the border."

In 1981, President Reagan appointed Bay Buchanan Treasurer of the United States making her the youngest person to hold that position since it was established in 1775. She is the sister of Pat Buchanan and managed his three campaigns for President.

Holt has called in Team America to police our border!

Hey, a Reagan-appointed former Treasurer of the United States has endorsed Senator Jim Holt. Is US Treasurer higher up than "former federal prosecutor"? I thought so.

Just for clarification, those scholarships would not have gone to illegal immigrants. Of course, that definition is from the law so take it as you want it. You can probably spin it anyway you deem fit.

Observation:
Not one Matayo or Banks person has been on this thread outraged about this endorsement or calling it "revenge" motivated. No one is insulted or questioning whether Holt deserves it. Maybe you should learn to follow their example. Good for Holt.

9:01 Get over it. Cinco's on the wrong side of this issue. You know it. He knows it. The whole age 18 argument doesn't hold any water with the Parents of Arkansas Students who are here legally(both citizens and legal immigrants). Cinco listened to Huckabee and not his constituants nor principal. Float that bill right now and see how far it gets. The rest of the country saw this way before it hit Arkansas. Let's not be the 49ers on this issue also!!!!

5:35 Learn from their example? Their example is to spread constant lies and distortions, even after corrected for the umpteenth time. If we were to follow their (Matayo supporters) example, we would be calling the IRS and the NRA national office trying to get them to disaffiliate the state NRA.

Their example is a disgrace.

They are not counted as being ILLEGAL aliens until 18? Well, when do people go to college? 18-21 in most cases.

So when they get the money THEY ARE ILLEGAL- they just have to promise to GET LEGAL, and the very fact they have to make that promise means THEY ARE ILLEGAL when they use the money. Urgo, it is taxpayer funds for scholarships for ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Political double, triple, and quadruple talk is not going to fly on this one.

Nice try 5:10. The NRA political Victory Fund is a POLITICAL non-profit--perfectly legal to endorse. The AFAA was not a political non-profit--therefore not legal to endorse. And don't think for a minute that people don't know you were on the phone immediately with the NRA chewing them out for their endorsement of Matayo just like you chewed out and threatened a local realty company. That's what the Holt team is about--threats, lies, and major spin. Anything to win.

"therefore not legal to endorse"

I hate to point out the obvious, but Bay Buchanan is a member of the Reform Party.

The real question is not "which party," but "which issues."

The real question is, why won't any Republicans endorse him?

I saw one of Matayo's women passing out the flyers that you speak of. At first I couldn't believe my eyes, the I considered the source as it was.
