Human Evolution Hypothesis Takes More Hits

Ouch, that is gonna hurt.

A couple of studies out recently that cast even more doubt on macro-evolutionary claims.

In one, the appendix is found to not be vestigal after all. And the random way it keeps popping up in some forms along the evolutionary tree and not others has some folks mighty confused. Money quote, "Parker and colleagues found that the appendix has evolved at least twice, once among Australian marsupials and another time among rats, lemmings and other rodents, selected primates and humans. "We also figure that the appendix has been around for at least 80 million years, much longer than we would estimate if Darwin's ideas about the appendix were correct."

The second article is a detailed study of the genetic differences between humans and chimps. The WAY in which are genes are different defies macroevolutionary explanation.
