Perhaps the Homeland Security folks will also warn us of the dangers of crossing the street. Heaven forbid returning vets should be given heroes welcomes for keeping us safe. Remember, all Mr. Rambo wanted was to get something to eat, yet Sheriff Teasle wouldn't let him b/c he was wearing a flag on his jacket.

No they didn't.

Come on.

Get your facts straight.

The homeland security department said that extremists would favor recruiting the returning veterans. They did not say that returning veterans were extremists.

"...warning that right-wing extremist groups were trying to recruit disgruntled troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan."

&

"Here is the important point. The report is not saying that veterans are extremists. Far from it. What it is saying is returning veterans are targets of right-wing extremist groups that are trying to recruit those to commit violent acts within the country. We want to do all we can to prevent that," she said.

I know the truth hurts, but take a pain pill and give it a whirl.
