Alex Jones Calls Out Glenn Beck

I believe that Glenn Beck in an example what is called "controlled opposition". That is, he is the establishment's designated choice to lead opposition to the establishment. Under controlled opposition, one side designates someone to pretend to be on the other side. That person gets a big build up and is portrayed as the "leader" or "voice" of the opposition. That way, when people opposed to what rulers are doing go outside the lines, their "leader" can steer them back the way the rulers want them to go.

Example: Beck was for the bailouts. How can anyone seriously entertain the idea that the national voice of the Tea Party is someone who was for the bailouts? In this well-worded letter, infowars guy Alex Jones calls Beck out.

Here is another Glen Beck quote about the bailouts. "LET THEM FAIL". I've never heard of Alex Jones, but I would like to know the context of the quotes used to support his 'beck sucks' letter.

Well, I've known of Alex Jones for years & I would not use him as a source & would view anything HE says with suspicion.
I'm all for being supicious of my government(and of the powers that be including the corporate media) but AJ takes conspiracy theories to a whole other level.
Beck isn't perfect & I don't agree with him or anyone(including myself) 100% of the time, but anyone who has listened to him consistently over the last few years would have seen him grow & change his mind on a few issues. I have myself. In part thanks to you, Mark & many others. In my opinion, anyone who has never evolved in their thinking or changed their mind is a nut job.
You can discredit practically anyone by stringing together a few 5 second clips of them in the right order.
Beck is the only guy that is having any success in taking on BOTH parties & as such he has & will continue to draw fire. Even if is from those who should agree with him.... whose attacks are fueled by jealousy.

Beck is a showman, period. Any good he accomplishes comes second to his ratings chasing.

You may not agree with Jones, but to call this an act of jealousy is ridiculous. Jones has stood by Ron Paul for as long as anyone can remember and is being perfectly consistent in calling Beck out on his attempts to have his cake and eat it: slamming Paul as a "truther" and pacifist when Beck's phony RINO buddies were still in the presidential race, and then acting like Paul's long lost pal now that the election is comfortably behind us and he wishes to pose as a constitutionalist.

As far as Beck evolving, perhaps you can show us where he apologizes for being a total tool and useful idiot by telling his multi million audience that we need to be bailing out banks and the private sector. Before you give him credit for growing into constitutionalism and capitalism in the span of nine months, let's see the proof.

Did you see the vid? I don't have to use Alex Jones as a source, the video shows plenty coming from Glen Beck's own mouth.

I deal in positions on issues, not personalities. Glen Beck may have said "let them fail" once outrage built and winds shifted, but while the bailouts were going on he said they should be done and "its not enough". His position shifts like that a lot, and backs the view that he is simply a demagogue trying to play us rather than a fellow true believer.

Look, I don't give those liberal gals on "The View" much credibility either, but they showed Glen Beck was lying when he was on their show about a month ago. Lying about something stupid. That ought to be a red flag.

I don't want my friends building him up into some kind of hero. They will be disappointed, and since I believe that is inveitable I would just as soon have it done with now before they get even more invested in him, even if that means a little temporary anger at me. Faithful are the wounds of a friend.

Beck works for Ruppert Murdoch and ultimately the tune Murdoch calls is the tune he will play.

Mark,
I did see the video.... I would like to see his statement about wanting more bailout in it's full context. That's something I've never heard from him. Most of the he rest is edited crap. I also know he says a lot of things in satire..... nevertheless, I too have contemplated how he fits into the Murdoch machine. They have probably let him off the leash in pursuit of the ratings. But that is a good thing. I have come to the conclusion that regardless of what the future holds for him or his positions, at this juncture in history, he is doing a great service. He is calling out the corruption (on both sides) that is destroying our nation & the information he is disseminating is motivating people, the RIGHT people, like we haven't seen in... well, maybe my lifetime. For me that is enough. I will leave the tricky art of divining his motives to others.
