Debbie Pelley gives a disturbing report about a resoulution sponsored by Sen. David Bisbee of Rogers.....

This Resolution is very pointed in stating that many requirements for U.S. citizenship will be circumvented. Evidently Bisbee believes in open borders because his resolution would move us a great distance in that direction if the Congress and President acted on his resolution.

Representative Anderson is the sponsor in the House of this Resolution. Bisbee doesn't have an e-mail, but he would feel the results if you send your objections to all the other legislators who are listed below the resolution.

After writing the paragraph above, I just learned that Bisbee's resolution passed the Senate today. Vote count was not on the state site. However, an amendment was added, taking Bisbee's name off and making it a resolution sponsored by Senate Ed. Committee. Wonder why?????

I know this resolution is not binding, and some senators probably thought it wasn't worth their time to study the matter, but I consider it very important because the Senate has just passed a resolution that in no way represents the views of the people in Arkansas. On at least three programs on KARN in Little Rock this subject was discussed, and almost all the calls were opposed to encouraging any more immigration in Arkansas.

I hope you will send an e-mail to all senators and to representatives (I don't know if they will act on it or not) expressing your disappointment that they passed such a resolution which will now look to Congress and the President that Arkansas supports such a resolution. This could be going on in other states as well and could greatly influence Congress.

If you send comments to legislators, you could copy and paste those into your e-mail as a major point of complaint. (all e-mail addresses are listed below the resolution that you can cut and paste into your e-mail and send to all in one or two e-mails.

I am sorry that Dave Bisbee is doing this. The statements in the resolution fall into three classes, mostly under "the irrelevant" (where he makes statements that are true about IMMIGRATION but are not true about the real issue ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION).

I don't have time to pick apart his fallacies, because he makes so many in such a short space, but that is his most common in this resolution.

Bottom line.....legitimizing illegals is the ONLY HOPE democrats have in boosting votes in thier favor. They now know that we know their game. So...they have to go after another "group" and make them feel like they need the democrats help to have a life.

I would like to see Mr. Bisbee, and others that support this resolution, use the open border idea, and move south!
