HB1525 still alive

Contrary what recent misleading articles on HB 1525 would lead you to believe, the bill, which would in-give state tuition rates and state sponosred scholarships to the "children" of illegal aliens who were brought over when their parents broke immigration laws to come here, is still alive and kicking...

Seeing as how it is almost certain to go to the full senate, maybe we should get folks to call their state senators right now, urging them to vote against HB1525. What are those contact numbers again?

"This is not an issue about being a bigot," Bisbee said. "We are a nation of laws. It’s about the law."
Jimmy Jeffress said he wavered back and forth on whether to vote for the bill. Holding back tears, he said he’d vote for the bill. He said he’s not as rigid as he used to be and "losing my marriage" years ago taught him "to bend." He said Arkansas needs to take to heart the words on the Statue of Liberty and have a "golden door" for people to enter.

Jimmy Jeffress is a good candidate for a change of vote...
