It appears that Wal-Mart heir John Walton has died in an ultra-light plane crash at age 58.
He was son of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton. He and his brother Jim were tied at no. 11 on the Forbes' list of the world's richest men.
He is survvived by two brothers, a sister, and his mother Helen.
Our condolences go out to the Walton Family for this tragic loss.
He also leaves behind a wife and son. Sources also report that the man was a war hero in Vietnam. A medic in the Green Beret's who won a silver star for saving the lives of fellow soldiers while under enemy fire.
