Asa Hutchinson's gubernatorial campaign is touting a new Wall Street Journal/Zogby poll that shows Hutchinson ahead of Mike Beebe by a five-point margin, 46.2-41.2 percent. (The margin of error is +/-4.4 percent.)
At a time when Republicans are about as unpopular as you can be, Asa still leads Beebe by 5 points. It's looking good.
I don't think Democrats are very popular either. Bebee has run an error-prone and unimpressive campaign so far. It also does not hurt that there are a couple of blogs like ArkFam and ArkTruth, that pound him relentlessly.
When I look to who will win I take in consideration the issue of abortion first. Most folks that poll on Zogby cant even spell Asa.
I was one of those who took the Zogby Poll! Glad ASA is leading.
