Does the Bible Teach that Illegal Aliens are Entitled to All Public Benefits?

With some trepidation I present for your review a ten minute Bible study on the question of "Does Scripture Teach that Illegal Aliens are Entitled to All Public Benefits that Citizens Enjoy?".

For those of you who do not know or care what this is about I apologize for wasting the bandwidth. It seems some folks are accusing Sen. Jim Holt of Springdale of being less of a Christian than they are because of his opposition to giving taxpayer supported college scholarships to persons who are here illegally, as well as taking extra steps to make sure illegal aliens don't get other public benefits. They quote lot's of scripture so I thought it ought to be addressed, lest the casual observor think less of the Bible on account of only hearing one side.

Squeeze Here to listen to the MP3 file.

So who is the supposed expert that you are presenting here and what are his credentials for being able to present a proper Biblical hermeneutic that I should trust over my own?

You spoke about different interpretations, but you were using someone (if not your own) else's interpretation of scripture. You weren't even using the KJV of the Bible.

What is an amplified Bible? Is it louder than a regular Bible?

Please feel free to use the KJV of the Bible and look up those same scriptues, and use Strong's concordance to examine the meaning of the original Hebrew.

I just wanted to present an alternative to the loud voices who insisted that we were less spiritual than they were because we did not want illegal aliens to have access to government programs.

Wow--Mark Moore...you lose an arguement and you start deleteing posts. No wonder no one posts on here anymore. Why don't you put those back up here and let people have a real discussion?

You have a lot of nerve deleting posts that show what kind of man you truly are. You should be ashamed of yourself. I really feel sorry for you and I will continue to pray for you Mr. Moore.

Emily/Paul--you both disgust me.

And, no, I am not Mark Moore.

Kudos to Mark Martin for his humble, incredible posts earlier tonight. It takes a man with a lot of character and profoud faith to come forward the way he did. And he's right. Mark Moore makes it his mission to assisinate the character anyone who disagrees with him or Holt. He will have to answer for that on judgement day. It's a shame that Mark Moore deleted everything.

And guess what...I'm not Emily. And last time I looked in the mirror, there's no way I could be Paul.

Now you know how the rest of us feel. You disgust all of us every minute. It's amazing that you're not disgusted with Mark Moore for being too much of a whimp to leave the posts for everyone to read. But then everyone would have proof of what kind of "man" he is.

In his defense, Mark Moore did the right thing and moved the embarrassing and humiliating debate to the privacy of Christian fellowship.

On my behalf, please cut him some slack on this one.

Sincerely,

Mark Martin

Ok, Mark Martin. I'll go with you on this. But I'll be praying that he (Moore) DOES the right thing and comes to you in privacy as the Bible directs.

Mark Martin: I will do as you ask and "cut him some slack", but I do want you to know that you have nothing to be embarrassed or humiliated about. You seem like a great guy and I would like to meet you sometime in the future. Continue the good work and I'm praying for you.
