Jim Bob Duggar: All class and a witness for his Lord

Former state Representative Jim Bob Duggar of Springdale narrowly lost to State Representative Bill Pritchard of Elkins in the Republican primary for the dist. 35 senate seat. Jim Bob was frankly outspent and outhustled in the race. Modern politics takes a relentless focus on self that many good men find very difficult, and Duggar is one of those.

When Jim Bob congratulated his opponent, Pritchard mentioned that he was leaving the country immediately to go on his wedding anniversary. Duggar at once offered to collect Pritchard's signs for him- a difficult task on many levels.

Win or lose the political race, you are a winner in the true race that you run. The gospel for which you witness shines brightly.

Jim Bob is indeed a class act. It's too bad he wasn't elected. Hope to see him in office sometime in the near future...

Let me tell you something, Jim Bob Duggar is a class act. He called Matayo today out of the goodness of his heart and asked if he could also pick up Matayo's signs. People could learn a lot from this man.

I agree, and I don't even know him.
I also say congrats to Jim Holt, and he will do well in the fall despite the naysayers.

Well maybe the Dugger /Holt faction will learn to raise more money. I hope his
supporters can find candidates that are not so ideological as Dugger. He would of been a
good politician if he had not run against Sen. Hutchinson. That is where he blew it.
From then on the RPA has not liked the Dugger/Constitution faction. I hope they can
learn from their mistakes. Holt might of done better had he realized that the RPA is so
small it can not guarantee a victory. He has to appeal to independence to win. This is no
South Carolina, at least not yeat. But thier are not helping the RPA. If Holt botches this
race the party will never forgive him. We will see if he can do better than agaisnt
Lincoln, and if he can get better than 44%.

We will see if Holt’s supporters are right (he’ll do better at this office), we have not
choice. A tip, Please don’t say lets think about this in a debate. And have two-three
main points to run on (Senator No does not count). And find a good speech write to put
your ideas together so the voter understands why you want to be your Lt. governor. And
communicate your ideas better. I talked with Holt at length about some of the issue and
he has some good ideas, he just needs to communicate them to the voter in a simple way.
