KTHV-Survey USA Poll Released on Lt. Governor's Race

KTHV Channel 11 Little Rock has just released the results of the their poll in the Lt. Governor's race. The poll was conducted this past Friday and Saturday. On the Republican side it looks like this.....

Holt 58%
Banks 15%
Matayo 10%
Undecided 17%

On the Democratic Side

Halter 40%
Hathorn 20%
Wooldridge 17%
Martin 9%
Undecided 13%

It looks like the Democrats are in for a runoff while on the Republican side Holt looks strong- and this poll was taken BEFORE his automated phone messages went out to insure that the polling support converted to voters in the booth.

Excellent- no runoff to waste resources. It looks like people already know what they want.

Looks like Jim Holt rolls to the GOP nomination tomorrow, and then trounces his Democratic opponent in November. And the political establishment will have a hissy fit. 8-)

At least 70% If the undecided falls in the same percentage as the other votes, Holt will get 70%.

Holt has been under full scale assault and his numbers are not budging. The negative ads are not moving the majority of Republican voters at all.

The Dems are likely to wind up in an expensive runoff that will drain their dollars and make them and Holt even (both broke) for the start of the general election campaign. The RPA is in much better shape than the DPA to help their candidate. The only question is, will they?

The "losing ticket in November" and "99% chance of losing" from the establishment toadies is just so much horse manure. Holt can draw in conservative Democrats by the boatload. If he loses, it will be because establishment Republicans refuse to vote for him, not because he does not draw in his share of independents and crossover Dems.

I am a Republican who will be voting for Halter or Hathorn if Holt wins the primary. You crazies should expect lots of other Republicans to do the same thing. Hope you enjoyed your little fantasy world where Jim Holt actually wins.

7:59, 8:53 et al,

Push the cart, pull the cart or come out of the closet and admit your liberal, spineless leanings. Don't let the republican door hit you on the way out. You fear mongering babbling liberal.
Take your ball and go home. Wha! let's put up our 12% guy. That's who Huckabond and the other clueless "leaders" want. Come on. Overcome your emotions and lack of understanding!! Your 12% guy with all the consultants and coaching can't get it done in the primary. How they going to get it done when we're not practicing anymore?

I got Jim Holt's automated telephone call last night and it took it about thirty seconds before Sen. Holt began to speak. I am sure most people hung up before that. There are only so many hello's you can say before click.

11:54 Tell us how it feels to be in such a small out of touch minority in the Republican Party. How was you bowl of cereal this morning? We are taking complaints on that now. Push the cart, pull the cart or get out of the way. Quit your whining or get some cheese.

I hope you enjoy your little fantasy world where the Christian Conservatives all support your establishment guys in the next cycle for the "sake of the team" when you would not do the same when it was your turn.

I also received Mr. Holt's phone call last night. I said hello and he said hello immediately. No problem. I understood each word he spoke. Very nice speech.
By the way, he got my vote today.
