Make Your Primary Election Prediction Here

The primary is tomorrow. Make your predictions for the elections here....and don't be a chicken, use your real name!

I will start us off.....

Republican Lt. Governor's Primary:

Holt will win with no less than 60% of the vote. If I had to pick an exact percentage I would say 62.5%. Turnout will be on the heavy side with about 75K voter turnout and 68K of those will vote in the Lt. Gov. Race.

Your turn.

Halter narrowly gets a majority. Hathorn goes with him to the run-off, but barely.

Campbell wins, followed by House and then Shoffner. No run-off

Put you handles on your calls folks, it is more fun that way. How are you going to say "I told you so" without them?

Holt 50.5%
Banks 28.5%
Matayo 21%

No run-off

Halter 36%
Wooldridge 23%

Halter wins run-off 52% - 48%

Originally (I admit) I never thought Holt could win a general election and I was pretty outspoken against him as I supported Banks (Mark you know I am not making this up). However, I am a Republican and I understand that once we select a candidate he is OUR candidate. If the republican voters of Arkansas do in fact select Jim Holt as I seem to think they will, I will support him 100%. The good news is that Bill Halter is not an Arkansan and the people of South Arkansas and the Delta(conservative dems) will reject a carpet bagging liberal who totally botched up and refused to do anything about the Social Security issue while running it. If there is a perfect storm brewing for Holt I believe it includes Halter winning the Democratic nomination. Good luck Jim and congratulations on a campaign well run. I tried to do my part to defeat you and I was not successful which is a tribute to the REAL support you have. As hard as it is to say this, I stand corrected. Go Jim, Beat Halter!

Holt will be in a runoff. I think even you, Mark know that the polls that have been taken are flawed. I guess that if you find that in your favor (Mark)you should say it was a good poll. Mark do you think it was a good poll?

Why do you think they polled so often? Even the people at KTHV thought the polls were flawed. They're afraid of losing all credibility, so they kept polling.

Partisan Arkansan, looks like you win the prize (if there was one). Those were some good calls.
