I have 5 words to say in response to this: Secretary of State Jim Lagrone. Jim absolutely whipped Charlie!!! He kept Charlie on the defensive all night long and Charlie looked like an idiot quite frankly. He kept repeating the same things over and over again and never really got to anything substantive. It'll be nice, as of January 9th next year, to have a REAL SOS, Jim Lagrone.

Something else I found funny was that Charlie kept talking like he'd have a job after January 9th. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

I give you that Charlie Daniels is an embarassment to the state, but LaGrone has no name recognition, no plan and no chance to win. Last night's debate was so boring and painful to watch that I turned the TV off.
I see why Jim LaGrone gave up preaching, he probably got tired of his congregation going to sleep in the middle of his sermons. Anyone who thinks he going to win is not facing reality.
I truly wish that the Republican Party in the future can find candidates who bring excitement to each down ticket race.
The GOP is probably going to get swept this year because none of our candidates get me excited about going to the poll on Nov. 7.

8:51, you're a moron just like the liberals are. Unless you're a liberal pretending to be Republican, which it sounds like you are from your post. Watching the debate and hearing Jim kept me glued to my television!!! And I have no doubt that Jim was an awesome preacher. Which explains why he has huge support in the Benton/Bryant area. Duh. Something Jim has that Charlie doesn't is a HUGE grassroots campaign. Charlie couldn't get that if he tried to! And when Jim, Jim, and Asa win this year, you'll be standing there with your jaw dropped wondering what happened. So why don't you go back to posting at the AR Times where you're appreciated because I know you're a liberal.

The truth is still the truth.
Jim Holt is the only Republican with a decent chance of winning on Nov. 7.
Jim LaGrone couldn't beat a drunk man playing tiddlywinks, and he sure won't beat one in a statewide race.
And even if I am a liberal, it doesn't change the facts just stated.
Here's some advice: Take a chill bill and don't get so angry when someone else disagrees with your opinion. It is not that serious.
This whole "Shout loud and call them a liberal and a moron" approach is making the case that you may be one of those "right wing nuts" that your president is laughing at behind close doors at the White House.

The only one we're laughing at is your and all your failed Democratic candidates and office holders. Asa WILL win (he's ahead in the rural vote AND the independent vote), Jim Holt WILL win, and Jim Lagrone WILL win. The only race that won't be that close is the Lt. Gov. The other 2 will be. So in the words of your speaks out of both sides of his mouth gubernatorial candidate, "Put that in your pipe and smoke it."

Denial. Sad, sad denial. Republicans of all sorts want to personally strangle poor people. I've seen them do it. I watched Jim Lagrone bludgeon a man with a King James Bible. Quite terrible...
