Gallup: Confidence of Americans in Federal Government Hits All Time Low
Less than half of Americans now have faith that the Federal government can solve our domestic problems. State and local governments don't see the same kind of erosion in faith that the poll shows for the Federal government. Public confidence in itself- the ability of people to make good decisions, is also dropping.

This is a good sign. I don't want them to try to solve our domestic problems. Or Iraq's. Or Burma's. Or Sudan's.
The federal government should, by design, be incompetent to do anything the constitution didn't intend for it to do, and Bush is proving better than Clinton that this is still the case. Though he's spending our money to make the rather expensive point.
And he's not learning anything from it.
Well just wait until Bush puts his hand to universal healthcare- oh my! And you thought his hundreds-of-billions-of-dollars Medicare prescription drug plan was expensive.
By the way, how long do you think the working class in this country will tolerate giving up the majority of their paychecks in order to pay for the retirement and medication of the silver-haired hippies?
Mark, I have a request for a movie review from you: The Kingdom.
Are you sure you want me to? I got a few friends upset last time. You know I panned "One Night With The King", right? If it is done in the name of the Lord, it should be done as unto the Lord.
Yeah, I remember that.
Well, you can analyze The Kingdom from two angles: the eye candy/senseless violence/popcorn munching factor, and the propaganda quality/quantity (if any) factor.
That way, there'll be something for everyone.
Well, that movie is not the one I thought it was.
Maybe I am off the hook. Movie review by conservative here...
