Fox Admits North American Union is the Goal
President Bush and others dismiss allegations that they are trying to set up a European Union style "North American Union" with the dollar replaced by a single multinational currency like the Euro. Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is out pushing his book so hard that he forgot to stick to the script. He cavalierly admits the "long long" range goal of what they are doing is just what has been done with the European Union and the Euro. Two thoughts on the subject of a North American union.
First, that has been the long range goal of American foreign policy since we first invaded Canada in 1775. The only question is the nature and cultural identity of such a union.
Like Randy Newman says "the whole world round will just be another American town". I see that as a plus. Think of all that oil in Mexico, lots of coal too.
Second, I wouldn't necessarily jump on the Vincent Fox credibility bandwagon.
No matter how asinine an idea, there will always be someone who supports it for the right price.
There is a legal and constitutional way to add states to the United States of America. This is not it. This is an underhanded way that usurps the constitutional protections of citizens and their elected representatives.
So do you think the comments regarding immigrants from the republican party leadership in the state is part of this overall plan?
The marching orders which those comments reflect are a part of the plan, but I have no idea whether or not the state leadership is aware of the whole plan. They could be saying those things not to implement the plan, but just to suck up.
