Nevada Republican Convention Shut Down!
Supporters of Arizona Senator John McCain abruptly shut down the Nevada Republican convention yesterday when it became apparent that supporters of Congressman Ron Paul would win most or all of the remaining delegates to the Republican National Convention. The Convention Chairman simply said the meeting was over and walked out as the lights were turned off. Claims that the could no longer have the room were contradicted by hotel personnel. The incredible account is here.
This move follows on the heels of Paul supporters capturing a majority of National Convention Delegates in the state of Washington. Paul supporters are also on track (barring dramatic measures like the one in NV) to capture a substantial number of delegates from the neighboring states of Missouri and Texas.

Why are Ron Paul supporter's still campaigning. I dig a die hard mentality but the race is over.
I'm just glad to see a candidate other than Hussein McClinton making the news.
This story also exposes the GOP for the fraud it is.
The message is bigger than the man. THe message can still advance through the man even if he cannot be the nominee.

Hopefully he can frame some policy. We have to get a handle on spending and the open border policies this administration is raping the U.S. citizens with.
There's GOP blood in the water... after the Nevada convention, it should be clear to every thinking and observant American that the GOP knows no bounds when it comes to shutting down Ron Paul's candidacy.
Nevada GOP Chairman Sue Lowden and Nevada State Senator Bob Beers (bothe of them McCain Supporters) shut down the vote count and convention after Paul took 4 of the first 6 delegates and it became clear that Paul would probably take a super-majority (2/3), of remaining delegates.
Lowden and Beers should be TOSSED.
I took part as a delegate in the Nevada convention. I am a former Arkansan from central Arkansas. Please see the following link on how you can help with restarting the Nevada convention. I expect that the party leadership will stall on restarting. Here is the link:
