Rep. Kaptur "there are domestic enemies of the Republic"
Kaptur, a Democrat from Ohio, says "“My message to the American people don’t let Congress seal this deal. High financial crimes have been committed.”
“We are Constitutionally sworn to protect and defend this Republic against all enemies foreign and domestic. And my friends there are enemies.”
Congressman Micheal Burgess (R) Texas, declares that Congress is "under martial law".

Apparently, "martial law" is a slang term for legislators hurrying to pass a bill. It's a very inconsiderate term, in my opinion.
