Boozman Primary Challenger Unveiled

D. Kincade over at the Ar Project has been bean-spilling as to the ID of the credible challenger that Congressman John Boozman will face in the GOP primary. The newspaper release on the issue would did not give a name, it just noted that the mystery candidate would formally announce on the Fayetteville Town Square Monday August 3rd at 6PM. The mystery candidate is retired Air Force General Bernard Skoch (pronounced "scotch").

He certainly is a better and more energetic public speaker than the somo-somatic incumbent.

Boozman is actually campaigning this cycle. He's accustomed to just coasting into another term, but this time is different. I hope this challenger boxes Boozman's ears.

I swore last year that I will not under any circumstances ever vote for a politician involved in the passage of the bailouts. I've met Congressman Boozman before and found him to be extremely polite and I respect him for that but he's shown that he's not someone I can trust in Washington when push comes to shove.

That is the tragedy of Boozman. He is such a nice guy, and a gentleman. He answers his e-mails, he talks to the People.

That sad thing is he is part of the Party machine, which does not seem as concerned with getting a conservative candidate into office, as with playing a political game.

Boozman if pleasant, but he is not a strong leader. He isn't actually a leader of any sort. Independent Tax groups rate Boozman as a 'follower', as average.

Boozman is nice enough to invite for a BB, but he is not resolute enough to represent the People of Arkansas.
