Retreat! Democrat-Gazette NWA Site Goes Subscription
It appears the Democrat-Gazette will now charge for access to its online NWA site. It makes me feel a little better when not even THEY can make internet writing turn a profit. What do you think of their retreat from the free digital field?

Dropped my DemoZette subscription when they chose to run a front page homosexual "family" story on Mother's Day.
It's their propaganda-over-news model that costs them subscribers and therefore ad revenue.
This is a desperate attempt to cover what I imagine are problems far more serious than they are admitting to.
Yeah, the voice of Arkansas also came out against the marriage amendment. Then they call people (75% of the state) "extreme" for supporting it.
I have detected a rightward tilt in their editorial section recently. I figure they are trying to cut into the Morning News up here in NWA.
