Polling on Lincoln Race. None too Popular
Sen. Gilbert Baker, Curtis Coleman, and Tom Cotton seem to be mighty unpopular/unknown folk. Their approval ratings in Arkansas range from 4 to 7%. This is particularly disheartening in that their extended families make up from 5 to 8% of the population.
Just kidding about that family part, but single digit approval ratings are still enough to keep these three men in a statistical dead heat with Senator Blanche Lincoln.
The poll did not ask about Green candidates or Independents (the number of self-identified Independents in the state is at 33% as opposed to 29% GOP).
