DEMOCRATIC PARTY RELEASE
Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman Todd Turner, along with U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln and Arkansas's Democratic National Committeewoman Krystal Thrailkill, will address the Benton County Little Flock Political Rally on Saturday, August 15.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $10 including a meal or $5 without a meal. The rally will be held at the Samaritan Community Center, 1211 West Hudson Road in Rogers.
This event is a fundraiser for the Benton County Democratic Central Committee. For more information please contact Suzanne Jessup at (479) 659-2315.

Arkansas Watch has learned that the event in question is actually a Democratic Party fund raiser, with paid admission. Obama's Website called the event a Town Hall. Blanche Lincoln's people say it is a Democratic party function not open to the public. They are right, Obama's website is wrong. Arktimes sorts through the mess.

Senator Blanche Lincoln has decided to deny the citizens of Arkansas a chance to be heard, we have called her office repeatedly and requested an audience to no avail. As recently as today I personally called and ask if there were ANY opportunities to meet with the Senator in a public forum, I was told 'NO'. Tonight just after 6pm I learned of a meeting Sen. Lincoln will be holding in Rogers, AR this Saturday.

She is speaking at a "Health Care Public Event". She has seen fit to evade her constituents, deny us our right to be properly represented and now slaps the voters in the face by appearing in our own back yard without the courtesy of an invitation or even a notice. Notice of this meeting as of tonight is NOT posted on any of her sites and appears to have only been sent to members of the OFA.
Please join hopefully HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of Arkansans to say ENOUGH! WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!
This may be our one and ONLY chance to express in MASS our dissatisfaction and concerns about the current issues facing our families!

There was a representives panel going on inside. They are not supposed to be able to keep us out of the panel meetings except for like if the room gets too full for the firemen.
I call complete and utter BS on this one. Any voter in Arkansas who has cared to sign up for updates from Lincolns official Senate email list received an email on August 7th titled "Lincoln to Travel Arkansas Next Week." In the email there is a handy "click here" link to view a list of her events. It links to a media advisory on her official Senate website.

You better call BS on Obama's own website. That is where she got her information, or should I say misinformation. Check the link to the liberal Arktimes website where they honestly document the source of the confusion.
Arkansas Unite and Washington County Tea Party still intends to picket the event. Benton County Tea Party has not made plans to do so, but rank and file might do so on their own initiative.
