The Southern Avenger on the Scam of Social Conservatism

Hi Mark!

I would love for you to post a list of the current U.S. House members and U.S. Senators who truly represent Conservative Values both socially and fiscally and have backed it up with their rhetoric and most importantly, their votes time and time again.

If somehow, someway, we could ever get 60 U.S. Senators and 261 House members who are truly Conservative and faithful to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and the 4 hallowed and eternal principles embodied in those documents (1. small and limited government and get about the business of dismantling and undoing the last 80 years of Federal Governance; 2. strong National Defense; 3. vibrant, thriving Capitalism and Entrepreneurship with minimal taxation and regulation; 4. and staunch support for individual freedom and liberty - tempered with moral restraint - and private property rights while recognizing that they flow directly from our Creator)then we can truly get back on track to creating an America 2.0 that far exceeds her past greatness and exceptionalism.

Great website and postings, Mark and continue to winsomely educate about why Conservatism is the way to win in one's personal life and in the public life of America!

God Bless!

Thank you for your kind words. I am flattered that you consider me up for such a project. For now, I still have a day job and am blessed with a houseful of souls who want and deserve my attention when I come home from work. I am not able to research the other 49 states to sift the wheat from their chaff. All I know is that we are 0 for 6 on any of that here in Arkansas.

So if what he is saying is true, how should a Christian who opposes Abortion and Supports tradional marriage VOTE? If the Republicans only use it to get elected, does that mean it is OK to vote for the Democrat? Not trying to be smart about it, but not sure which way to go!

Not all Republicans are only using the issue. Some are sincere.

But I would say that if the top of party is only using the issue then the obligation of the Christian is to either work to overthrow the establishment that is cynically using the issue or work to build an alternative party that is not just using the issue. In the latter case, you must also work for some sort of run-off system, such as instant run-off voting, so that the two establishment parties do not fiendishly use a split vote to keep sending anti-life politicians into power.
