The national Republicans have unveiled their "Pledge to America." Color me cynical that any bottom-line difference will occur.

One thing that will be different is that the so called "Christian Right" will at least feel better since it will be their chosen brand of criminal running our mafia controlled government.
I don't see much about social issues in that "pledge". The CR does not run the GOP, they are simply exploited by them. GW Bush did not do what the CR wanted. Rather, he turned them to do what HE wanted.
If this year is a repeat of 1994, then 2012 will be a repeat of 2006 if the Republicans don't get government spending under control. If they do, they will stay in power as long as they want.
